2022-2023 Season - Charged Up
FIM District Wayne State University Event- At WSU, we seeded 7th overall and were captains of the 5th alliance. Despite being eliminated in match 10, we earned the Gracious Professionalism award and learned what improvements needed to be made on our robot.
FIM District Belleville Event- Following our week 2 event, we went on to compete at Belleville High School for a week 3 event. While there, we seeded 6th overall and were captains of the 4th alliance. We made it to match 12 where we were unfortunately eliminated. However, we won the FIRST Impact Award and qualified for the FIRST in Michigan State Championship.
FIM State Championship- Following a long day of qualification matches, we were invited to join alliance 3 and made it to the semifinals of our division. Additionally, we won the Innovation In Control award on the Aptiv field and qualified for the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas.
FIRST World Championship- Charger Robotics took on Archimedes field at the FIRST World Championship in Houston, Texas. Our record was 6-4 and we ranked 23rd in our division. Despite not being selected for alliances, we had a great time attending and hope to be back next year!
